Teach Abroad

Leading a group of students abroad is a professionally rewarding experience! More than 150 University of Minnesota faculty and staff have taught undergraduate and graduate students in an international setting. Students and program leaders alike find the experience to be a highlight of their academic and professional careers.

The Learning Abroad Center is here to help you develop one of these unique learning opportunities.

Call for Proposals

The Learning Abroad Center's deadline for Create Your OwnFreshman Seminar AbroadGlobal Seminar, and Summer Teach Abroad Opportunities proposals for 2017–2018 has passed.

The proposal round for 2018-2019 will begin late fall semester 2017 and proposal will be due on February 1, 2018. Please review our Teach Abroad web pages and resources.

We are particularly interested in programs taught in locations outside of western Europe and that appeal to traditionally underrepresented students. Contact Lindsey Lahr with questions.
