JET Alumni Scholarships at the Monterey Institute of International Studies

The Monterey Institute and JET are partnering to provide scholarships to qualified alumni. Students who demonstrate their commitment to service through JET programs are recognized and valued through this partnership with the Monterey Institute. The Monterey Institute of International Studies offers language-based master's degree programs and courses in foreign languages and English for non-native speakers. These scholarships are renewable for a second year, depending upon the recipient’s program and academic performance. The awards are made based on the components of the application process - academic records, current resumes, and letters of recommendation and the statement of purpose as well as completion of JET service by time of enrollment. Scholarships are applied to tuition only and do not cover living expenses. Please see the website for information on the application process.
