Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Graduate Fellowships

Each award covers a portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, required fees, and books for the graduate degree chosen. The amount and duration of awards vary by student based on the cost of attendance and the length of the graduate program as well as other scholarships or grants received. The maximum available per student per year of study is $50,000 and the maximum length is six years. Please see the website listed above for more information.

Academic Level

  • Graduating Seniors
  • Graduate

Other Eligibility

  1. Applicants must be a senior or a recent graduate (since May) of an accredited US college or university. 
  2. Have a bachelor's degree by the start of the fall 2006 semester.
  3. Have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
  4. Be nominated by his or her undergraduate institution.
  5. Not previously have been nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation graduate scholarship. 
  6. Plan to attend a full-time graduate or professional degree program at an accredited university. This must be the first graduate degree the candidate has ever pursued.
