More than 20 students and 3 scholars will be enabled to participate in the Master of Bioethics with financial aid of Erasmus Mundus scholarships. Health care professionals and others professionally interested in medical ethics find themselves increasingly confronted with moral questions and dilemmas. Such complex issues challenge the people who have to deal with them every day. For the first time several European universities and institutes have combined their efforts in the field of bioethics by developing a master's programme that focuses on all issues currently relevant to bioethics.

Erasmus Mundus scholarships are for graduate students and scholars. A scholar is an academic and/or professional of outstanding experience who carries out teaching or research assignments and scholarly work in the institutions participating in the Erasmus Mundus Masters Course.
