Learning Abroad Training for Advisers
This one-hour crash-course session will help both new and seasoned UMTC advisors and student services staff get up to speed on working with students who are navigating the study abroad process.
We will cover:
- What is the Learning Abroad Center?
- How do students select a program (and how can you help)?
- How do course approvals, lib eds, and credits work?
- How do students fund their experience?
We will also share relevant advising tools and resources, and discuss ways you can get more involved with the Learning Abroad Center.
