Larissa Simon is a Program Assistant for the Study & Intern in Madrid program. She is a senior majoring in Geography. She was a participant in the program in the Spring of 2017. While abroad, she took classes through the program and studied Spanish Art and Culture. Her favorite thing about Madrid was the authenticity of the city’s unique Spanish spirit, the museums, the metro, and the food. Her advice to future students: “Don’t have any expectations or judgements going into your time abroad. It will be much more exciting and memorable!”
Cole Dubbeis is also a Program Assistant for the Study & Intern in Madrid program. He is a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Spanish Studies. He participated in the program in the summer of 2017, where he interned at the University of Madrid in the Department of Sustainability, while also taking a course on the culture of Spain. His favorite parts of Madrid were the parks, weather, metro, and friendliness of the people. His advice to future students is "to experience and appreciate the culture's value of interpersonal relationships."

Below is a list of other students who participated in past program sessions. They are ready and willing to answer your questions about this program. Feel free to contact them during your decision making process or anytime during your pre-departure preparation to get a student perspective.
