About Engineering & Science Exchange in Norway
Attend classes in engineering and related fields with Norwegian students at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology or at the University of Agder on this academic scholarship program. These universities are nationally known for technological education and research within the natural sciences.
Design a study program in consultation with a faculty adviser in the College of Science and Engineering. A language course is highly recommended. Instruction in English and Norwegian by Norwegian faculty. You receive transfer credit and typical credit load includes: 24–30 for academic year; 12–15 for fall or spring semester.
Eligibility & Application
Open to juniors and seniors with a 3.0 GPA and a major in engineering or science. Students majoring in science disciplines in CLA and CBS may be admitted if course requirements are available at NTNU. Applications are reviewed until mid-March deadline.
Academic Fit with a UofM Degree Plan
After you've chosen a program and identified the courses you want to take, departmental and college advisers can evaluate whether or not the course work can be used toward your major or to meet other requirements. It is important to be somewhat flexible in planning your courses. Sometimes course information isn't immediately available, so you may need to correspond directly with the host university.
Program fees include tuition, fees, and international health insurance. Housing, meals, airfare, and personal expenses are additional. Use the budget estimate for this program to help plan for the estimated cost of the program. You will receive updated cost information as soon as it is available.
