CET offers scholarships for students participating on CET programs. Applicants for the Language Immersion in China program are eligible for CET's scholarship. CET's scholarship application deadline for summer term is March 1. All materials must be submitted directly to CET's Washington, DC office. Access the CET scholarship application form via this page or through the CET online checklist to which you will have access shortly after submitting your program application.
In addition, the Learning Abroad Center is offering an additional $500 scholarship for all Uof M Chinese Flagship students for the Language Immersion in China or CET Harbin summer program. Students must apply by the Learning Abroad Center's February 15 priority application deadline in order to be considered for the CET Flagship scholarship.

Orientation Dates & Locations
Orientation will be conducted in 2 parts: an online orientation, which is mandatory for all students, and an in-person, program-specific session. You will receive more information about the online orientation via email. Failure to complete the online orientation will impact your ability to go abroad.
See below for tentative dates and times for your in-person session. Make-up orientations will not be offered, so do your utmost to arrange your schedule to be at the orientation. You will be notified of the official date and time via email. Parents are welcome to attend pre-departure orientation, and a parent breakout session will also be offered the day of orientation.
