Learning Abroad Resource Center
In our resource center we have a binder that includes a number of bibliographies and articles that specifically address issues for GLBT students. Students can use these resources to help select program destination that is safe and supportive for GLBT students, or can decide on the level of challenge they are interested in assuming in a culture which may not be as open to GLBT lifestyles as the US.

NAFSA's Rainbow Special Interest Group
This comprehensive web site is run by an interest group from the national professional association for international education.

Diversity Issues Survey
When you return from your learning abroad experience, be sure to fill out this Diversity Issues Survey. It is designed to illuminate issues that are directly related to diverse students studying abroad. This way more and more students can understand the particular challenges and benefits of studying abroad.
