APAAC Chart
Students participating on Affiliated programs are charged a program fee which is inclusive of the affiliate's program fee, University of Minnesota Advising, Placement, Academic and Administrative Costs (APAAC) and international travel, health, and security insurance. Based on these additional services and benefits, the overall program fee may be higher than the affiliate's published program fee.
The APAAC covers:
- application processing
- advising services
- orientation
- course registration
- grade transfer and posting for resident credit
- program billing
- assistance with financial aid when applicable.
To calculate the total program fee you will be charged:
- Find your affiliated program provider on the chart below.
- Add the APAAC amount to the provider's published program fee (available on the affiliate's website and/or print materials).
- Consult the CISI policy web page for the most current monthly rate. Multiply that rate by the number of months you will be abroad. Add this amount to the total from step 1.
- Apply any fee reductions offered by your affiliated program provider. Consult the Affiliated Programs Fee Reductions web page to see if your program is eligible.
