Description
Explore natural resource and agricultural management issues in Costa
Rica and Central America, accompanied by a College of Natural Resources
(CNR) faculty member.
Curriculum
Spend two weeks in early January on a combination of excursions,
field trips, and visits with individuals involved with agriculture
and natural resources. Prior to departure, students attend several
sessions utilizing readings and coursework designed to provide familiarity
with Costa Rica culture, trip logistics, and natural resources and
agricultural systems. Credit granted for Agri 3000 or NRES 3480,
Spring Semester. Instruction in English by CFANS and Costa
Rican faculty. Typical credits: 3 for Spring Semester.
