"In general, for students with disabilities who are thinking about going to another country, I would say yes, do it if you can. I, myself was an exchange student to Japan back in high school. I was hard of hearing at that time, now I am deaf. I thought that my experience was one of the most profound experiences for me. It really changed the way I think about myself and the whole world actually. The world became much smaller. So I would tell students with disabilities to think about going."
